Elina Svitolina and Sergii Stakhovskyi have officially opened the SVITO Padel Club in Kyiv, located at Podil Garage. The facility features seven indoor courts designed to make padel accessible to both athletes and families. The opening event attracted prominent guests and athletes, highlighting the ambition to grow the sport rapidly across the country.

Organizers announced a series of youth masterclasses, regional talent scouting initiatives, and community events aimed at accelerating padel’s development in Ukraine. These programs are intended to attract new players and nurture future talent, ensuring the sport’s long-term growth.

Elina Svitolina expressed her excitement about the project and its potential impact. “This is such a dream. Of course, we love tennis, but in recent years we have also grown fond of padel. The opening ceremony was attended by notable figures including Andriy Shevchenko, president of the Ukrainian Football Association, and Oleksandr Usyk, the undisputed world boxing champion, who recently opened his own padel center.
