After a year marked by instability, Martín Di Nenno begins 2026 with fresh challenges alongside Momo González from Malaga. The pair have not yet achieved the desired results in their first three tournaments, but the Argentinian remains confident in the long-term project. In an interview with analistaspadel, he explained: “What I like most is having a solid partner, I think Momo and I are two pretty complete players despite not having a great shot,” he said.
Building chemistry on court
Di Nenno believes that their complementary skills will eventually bring success. The duo’s early struggles are seen as part of the adjustment period, but he insists that patience and trust in the process will pay off. Their shared commitment to consistency and teamwork is the foundation of this new partnership.
Change in coaching staff
The Argentine also addressed the recent coaching change, ending his collaboration with Cristian Gutiérrez. “I want to thank Cristian for these past few months, which truly helped me a lot,” he said. Now he is working with Lucas Centurión, a lifelong friend from Argentina. “This year I’m with Lucas Centurión, who is one of my best friends. We’ve known each other since we were very young and grew up playing padel together, learning from Seba Mocoroa in Argentina,” he commented. Gaby Reca will also be part of the team, representing Momo, while Centurión will focus on Di Nenno’s daily training.
Di Nenno’s renewed approach, built on trust in his partner and the guidance of familiar coaches, reflects his determination to grow stronger in 2026. The project may take time, but his belief in the partnership with González signals a clear path forward.
