Mike Yanguas and Franco Stupaczuk have reached the final of the P2 tournament in Newgiza, where they are seeded No. 2. They will face the top-seeded pair of Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto, setting up a clash between two of the strongest teams on the circuit.
A long-awaited return for Yanguas
This marks Yanguas’s first final in more than a year, his fifth overall on the Premier Padel tour. His last appearance came in Acapulco 2024, where he and Stupaczuk lost to Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia 6-4, 1-6, 2-6. The return to a final stage highlights his resilience after a challenging period.
Previous success in Egypt
The duo already has fond memories of Egypt, having won a title there in 2024. In that final, they defeated Lucas Bergamini and Javi Garrido 6-3, 7-6, a victory that showcased their ability to perform under pressure.
The challenge ahead
Facing Galán and Chingotto, the No. 1 seeds, will be a significant test. The Spanish-Argentine duo has been in excellent form and will look to assert their dominance. For Yanguas and Stupaczuk, the final represents both a chance to reclaim momentum and to prove they can compete with the very best.
