Martín Di Nenno has opened a fresh stage in his career after a difficult start to the season alongside Momo González. The Argentine drive admitted that despite good training sessions, their partnership failed to deliver results in competition. “We did everything possible to make the pair fit as best as possible. In training everything went well, but in tournaments we suffered defeats that took away our confidence,” he explained.
Reunion with Paquito Navarro
Now Di Nenno is preparing to reunite with Paquito Navarro, forming one of the most anticipated duos on the Premier Padel circuit. Their partnership previously came close to reaching world number one in 2021, and they remain one of the most admired pairs among fans. “With Paquito we will try to relive our best moments from years ago, knowing that the objectives are completely different. It’s another stage, we are older, and it’s a huge challenge from Paco to say yes at this moment, but I’m eager to give everything and improve,” Di Nenno said on his YouTube channel.
Optimism and motivation
The Argentine expressed confidence that his best level will return. “I know Paco will bring out the best Martín again. I love challenges. When people say it can’t be done, I feel even more motivated to try,” he added. Navarro himself joined the announcement with a playful message: “I’ve come for my unforgettable dance.”
Official debut in Rome
The new duo will debut at the Italy Major in Rome, entering as the sixth-ranked pair. They aim to challenge the top teams and close the gap with Juan Lebrón and Leo Augsburger, who currently set the threshold for the top four positions in the rankings.
Farewell to Momo González
Di Nenno also offered a respectful goodbye to his former partner. “I’m very grateful to Momo for all these months. I loved getting to know him; he’s an incredible person and a damn phenomenon. But well, when things don’t work out, it’s best to leave in time. Both for me and for him,” he said, wishing González success with his new teammate Lucas Campagnolo.
