Paquito Navarro marked the first anniversary of his academy in Seville with a special event at the Iron Deluxe Padel Club. The “Hurricane” of Los Remedios was greeted with admiration from fans, reinforcing his status as one of the sport’s most charismatic figures.
Reunion with Martín Di Nenno
Speaking to mediopunto.padel, Navarro shared his feelings about reuniting with Martín Di Nenno. “We’ve only been able to train together once, but it felt like we’d never been apart. I feel very comfortable with him. Regarding expectations, we’re aware that we’re a bit older and that we’re not going to be fighting for number one, but our goal is to be happy on the court again and compete against whoever we’re up against,” Navarro explained.
Di Nenno’s current commitments
While Navarro celebrated in Seville, Di Nenno was competing in Albania at the FIP Platinum Tirana tournament alongside Jairo Bautista. The pair reached the semifinals, and once the event concludes, Di Nenno will head to Italy to finalize his reunion with Navarro at the Italy Major.
A partnership reborn
The return of Navarro and Di Nenno signals the start of a new chapter for one of padel’s most recognizable duos. Their renewed collaboration is not about chasing rankings but about rediscovering joy on the court and challenging any opponent who stands in their way.
With the Italy Major on the horizon, anticipation grows around how this partnership will evolve. For Navarro, the project represents more than competition—it is about reconnecting with a teammate who shares his passion and determination, and about inspiring fans with their renewed energy.
