Marriott International, together with the Marriott Business Council Singapore, has announced the inaugural Singapore Charity Padel Open 2026. The three-day fundraiser will take place at Ricochet Padel Sentosa from 28 to 30 May, aiming to unite sports enthusiasts, partners, and the wider community in support of Community Chest Singapore.
Inclusive competition
The tournament is designed to be amateur-friendly, welcoming both casual and seasoned players. Participants can register under two divisions: the Open Division for beginners and social players, and the Champion Division for more competitive athletes rated Playtomic level 5.0 and above. Teams may enter as female, male, or mixed pairs, ensuring inclusivity across all backgrounds. A total of 32 teams will compete in group-stage matches before the finals on 30 May.
Beyond the courts
The event will feature more than just padel. A rooftop awards ceremony, charity auction, and barbecue party with DJ entertainment will add to the festivities. Prizes worth over SGD 20,000 will be awarded, with all proceeds directed to Community Chest Singapore. The funds will support over 200 social service programmes for vulnerable groups, including children with special needs, youth-at-risk, seniors, families in need, and persons with disabilities or mental health conditions.
