A decisive step toward Doha
The European qualifiers mark a crucial stage on the road to the FIP World Cup 2026. Hosted at the Padel G24 club in Madrid, the event will determine which teams secure the final places in the men’s and women’s draws. With two spots available in each category, the competition is set to be fierce.
Participation across Europe
A total of 29 European nations will be represented. Twenty-six countries will field both men’s and women’s teams, while Belgium, the Netherlands and Monaco will compete only in the men’s category. The men’s draw includes nations such as Germany, Great Britain, Poland, Turkey and Ukraine, while the women’s competition features strong contenders like Austria, Finland, Romania and Switzerland.
Global qualification process
The Madrid event follows qualifiers already staged in North and Central America, with South America’s turn coming in Asunción, Paraguay, from August 20–22. That tournament will award two women’s spots and one men’s place. The Africa-Asia qualifiers will then conclude the process, offering one berth in each category.
Building momentum for the finals
With the FIP World Cup scheduled in Doha later in 2026, the European qualifiers represent not only a battle for places but also a showcase of padel’s rapid growth across the continent. The expanded participation highlights the sport’s increasing reach and the importance of Madrid as a hub for international competition.
