A major indoor and outdoor racquet hub arrives in South Florida
Boca Paddle by CityPickle is preparing to make its official debut on Nov. 18 in Boca Raton. Located at 50 W. Jeffrey St., the 100,000-square-foot facility has been billed as the largest indoor and outdoor club of its type across Florida, as well as the city’s first fully climate-controlled indoor venue dedicated to these racquet sports.
The extensive complex will house 25 courts overall, offering players 19 pro-cushioned pickleball courts alongside six high-clearance padel courts. Among the pickleball setups is a dedicated stadium court built specifically for tournament competition. In total, 16 courts are fully enclosed within climate-controlled indoor spaces, comprising 14 pickleball courts and two padel courts. Outdoors, guests will have access to nine additional courts, featuring five canopy-covered surfaces and four open-air courts.
Wellness amenities, dining and community resilience
Beyond court action, Boca Paddle directors outlined a wide array of support facilities designed for recovery and lifestyle. The venue incorporates locker rooms equipped with showers, saunas, cold plunge pools, and a dedicated recovery zone. Visitors and members will also have access to an on-site pro shop, coworking areas, and private event rooms. On the competitive side, the venue serves as the official home facility for the Palm Beach Royals of Major League Pickleball.
Dining will be anchored by Farmer’s Kitchen by Farmer’s Table, a full-service restaurant and bar led by Chef Michael Schenk. Boca Paddle confirmed that the restaurant will remain accessible to the general public without requiring any membership or day pass.
Developed through a public-private partnership alongside the Greater Boca Raton Beach & Park District, the venue also fulfills a critical civic role. Built to hurricane-resistant standards established by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the structure is designed to function as an emergency public shelter. The operation has hired 80 employees ahead of its November opening.
