Christian Vieri has once again turned the spotlight on Lignano Sabbiadoro, launching the 2025 edition of the “Bilboa Bobo Summer Cup Padel Tour” at the U-Power Arena. From August 1st, the seaside town transforms into a vibrant hub of sport, entertainment, and community spirit. The event spans three days, bringing together amateur players and football legends for padel tournaments, thrilling challenges, and moments of solidarity.
Football Legends Take the Court
The padel courts will host nine iconic footballers whose combined careers boast over 2,700 Serie A appearances and nearly 500 goals. Among them are names like German Denis, Cristian Brocchi, Massimo Maccarone, and Alessandro Calori. These stars swap cleats for rackets, showcasing their competitive spirit in a new arena while engaging with fans and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Entertainment Meets Solidarity
Beyond the matches, the event pulses with energy and purpose. Saturday evening marks the pinnacle with the All-Star Tournament, followed by a charity dinner at the renowned Mr. Charlie venue. Proceeds from the evening will support “SOStegno 70,” an organization dedicated to helping young people living with type 1 diabetes. This fusion of sport and philanthropy underscores the event’s deeper mission: using athletic passion to drive meaningful change.
