A padel court under Milan’s Arco della Pace hosts a special match between Serie A legends with the presence of Bobo Vieri

For the first time, a padel court was installed beneath the iconic Arco della Pace in Milan, transforming one of the city’s most symbolic landmarks into a vibrant arena of fitness and fun. The occasion was part of the My Personal Trainer Days, a wellness festival that brought together thousands of enthusiasts for two days of outdoor activities, expert-led sessions, and unforgettable experiences. “Bringing padel to the heart of Milan is a celebration of movement and community,” said one of the event organizers.

The court, framed by neoclassical architecture and open skies, became the centerpiece of the weekend, drawing attention from passersby and fans alike. It wasn’t just about sport—it was about creating a moment where culture, health, and entertainment collided.

Eight former Serie A players take the stage

The highlight of the padel showcase was a friendly yet competitive match featuring eight former Serie A footballers. These athletes, once rivals on the pitch, now faced off in pairs with rackets in hand and smiles on their faces. “We’ve traded goals for volleys, but the spirit is the same,” joked one of the players before the match.

The lineup included familiar names who once thrilled fans in stadiums across Italy. Their chemistry, banter, and competitive edge brought energy to the court, proving that the love for sport doesn’t fade—it simply evolves. Spectators cheered as the players showed off surprising skill and agility, with rallies that blended finesse and flair.

My Personal Trainer Days continues to innovate

The inclusion of padel in this year’s My Personal Trainer Days reflects the event’s commitment to embracing new trends in fitness and wellness. From AntiGravity® workouts to pet-friendly zones, the festival offered something for everyone. But the padel match under the Arco della Pace stood out as a symbol of how sport can be both inclusive and iconic. “We wanted to create something memorable, and this match did exactly that,” said a spokesperson for the event.

With over 15,000 attendees and hundreds of activities, the festival reaffirmed its place as a leading force in Italy’s wellness movement. And with padel continuing to grow in popularity, it’s clear that this won’t be the last time the sport takes center stage in such a spectacular setting.
